The Cinema Museum, London SE11 4TH: 17 Sept 2023
Online: 17-24 Sept 2023

GlobalGirl Media Film Festival (GGMFF) celebrates and showcases short films by

young women and non-binary filmmakers. Our mission is to promote diverse women's

voices in film and media, building a global sisterhood of filmmakers.

Our in-person festival day on 17 Sept was a wonderful warm, inclusive gathering of young women filmmakers and film-lovers of all backgrounds - exactly the atmosphere and space we wanted to create. Our speakers , led by Channel 4 News presenter Ayshah Tull and our GlobalGirl Media UK alumnae, our jury and our awards host Elle Osili-Wood, truly espoused our festival and our mission, to bring more underrepresented women’s voices to the screen.

Although the online festival is over , passholders can still watch the Awards Ceremony

and 15 GlobalGirl Media films from around the world.
